Irvine, CA - The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) is pleased to announce that Robert Gladden has been named to the newly created position of Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Program Administrator.
As OHV Program Administrator, Gladden will oversee MSF’s off-highway motorcycle programs, the MSF DirtBike SchoolSM and the Military Motorcycle Operator’s Program (MILMO), along with related off-highway rider training activities with youth leagues such as the California Police Athletics League (CalPal) and the National Youth Program Using Minibikes (NYPUM). Because it is MSF’s newest program, growing DirtBike School nationwide will be one of Gladden’s main priorities. He will focus on establishing training sites, the recruitment and training of DirtBike School Coaches and working with motorcycle retailers in their support of the program.
Gladden’s expertise in OHV concerns will also allow him to support the ATV rider training efforts of the ATV Safety Institute (ASI).
"Rob’s experience in the industry is invaluable to MSF as we see the MSF DirtBike School playing a key role in creating the next generation of motorcyclists in America," said Elisabeth Piper, Managing Director.
An avid off-highway and street rider for 30 years, Gladden’s industry experience includes his most recent position of Manager, Sales and Marketing at Acerbis USA that rounded out a 10-year stint in the off-highway market. While at Acerbis, he served on the Aftermarket/Allied Trades Committee for the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC).
